Pullman Civic Trust plays an active role in planning and implementing community festivals and events.
Passport to Downtown Promotion
April - October, 2024
During the construction season: Get a passport by visiting the Pullman Civic Trust table at the 3Forks River & Arts Festival, Pedal Pullman or by visiting a participating business downtown (look for the “We have passports” sign in the window . If you collect stickers from at least 4 businesses per month of construction, your name will be added to a drawing for 1 of several gift baskets at the end of construction. If you miss a sticker or start late, you can simply back-fill your sticker collection by visiting more shops the next month.
The goal is to support the downtown businesses and help them weather this difficult time. We want to ensure our locally owned business owners make it through on strong financial footing as we look forward to a shiny new, vibrant Main Street!
Pedal Pullman
Pedal Pullman is a summer event that introduces participants to Pullman’s trail system. It is a family friendly event that includes stops along the route with fun facts about the location and opportunities to take fun selfies and sometimes pick of a special treat.
Holiday Fest
We help with the Pullman Chamber of Commerce’s annual Holiday Fest to welcome Santa to town and celebrate the beginning of the holiday season.
PCT lines the kid’s jingle bell run with luminaries, lit up the train car at the Pullman Heritage that Santa steps out of before leading the way to light the City’s tree at Pine Street Plaza.
3Forks River & Arts Festival
PCT helps with the planning of this new Spring festival in Pullman. We also hosted a station where festival go-ers could see how well they know Pullman’s trail system. Our activity was to match the trail segment logo with the trail segment that it goes with.
